SAMALOUT INSPECTORATE OF ENGLISH
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PARTICIPATIONS
Along the past years, there has been a
radical change in the method of supervision. The Idara supervisors have
shouldered various tasks . Creativity and co-operation prevail the team
work of our Idara.
The Idara Inspectorate of English is divided into two working
teams.
(1) The
Follow- Up Team :
The team is represented in the supervisors of the three stages.
The team members never disregard the continual evaluation and assessment
of both the teachers and the students. In the traditional schooling
experience, student learning was most often measured only by testing
specific question which are tangible and structured and can be
administered within a limited time period.
Our Supervisory team have their concept that broadens the kind
of information that is collected about students and the way that this
information is used in the evaluation of student learning. Assessment
performances are day-to-day activities that can also be authentic
Ideally, these performances become an integral part of the instructional
cycle, and feedback provided by the teacher and peers is meant to be
formative that is, it is intended to help the student assess his
strengths and weaknesses . We really offer a word of thanks to our
supervisory team .
(2) The
Inspection Team :
The inspection team headed by
the senior inspector , Mr. Rashed Mohamed , is responsible for
following - up the supervisors of the schools they are in charge of . a
report is
written ,
signed and offered to The Idara Director General
Mr. Nabil Kheir who , in his turn
gives comments and pieces of advice to the whole group in weekly
meetings with the staff of supervisors .
